About Oceanologia
OCEANOLOGIA is a scientific journal published under the auspices of the Committee for Marine Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Original articles in the field of oceanology, published exclusively in English, appear quarterly. OCEANOLOGIA presents original papers on research into natural processes occurring in the marine environment — physical, chemical, biological and seabed geomorphological. The journal is indexed in Web of Science, Science Citation Index Expanded, ScienceDirect, Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts, Current Contents, DOAJ, INSPEC, Scopus, EBSCO Environment Index (CORE) and Zoological Record.

OCEANOLOGIA Editorial Office uses CrossCheck's iThenticate software to detect instances of similarity in submitted manuscripts with already published materials, whether in print or on-line. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity to the published materials. In publishing only original reports from research, OCEANOLOGIA is committed to deterring plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. Manuscripts are rejected promptly on the grounds of proven plagiarism.
